LUCENA CITY — A 13-year-old boy drowned in a river in Tuy town in Batangas province on Tuesday, Oct. 29, police said Wednesday.
The Region 4A police said the victim, identified as Justine Villas, left their house around 9 a.m. in Barangay Lumbangan and went to the river to pick up some firewood.

Police are conducting further investigations.
