Two years after she gave birth to her first child, Jessy Mendiola will be marking her return to acting through the TV series “Nobody,” where she will star alongside Gerald Anderson.
The actress’ comeback was announced by JRB Creative Production, an entertainment unit under ABS-CBN TV Production, via its Instagram page on Monday, Nov. 11.
Article continues after this advertisementThe announcement came with a photo of Mendiola and Anderson, who appears to be dressed as a policeman. In the photo, Mendiola lovingly gazes at Anderson whose arm is wrapped around the actress’ shoulders.

Meanwhile, “Nobody” also marks the reunion of Mendiola and Anderson who worked together in the 2011 TV series “Budoy.”
Mendiola’s most recent acting stint was in the 2019 ABS-CBN show “Sandugo.” She also headlined several other TV series including “Maria Mercedes” and “Sabel.”
Mendiola is married to TV host-actor Luis Manzano. The couple first tied the knot in a civil wedding in 2021, then welcomed their daughter Rosie in December 2022. Two years later, the couple held a church wedding in Palawan.
