MANILA, Philippines — Fair, warm weather is seen nationwide on Wednesday due to the easterlies, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported.
According to state weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio, the easterlies affecting Luzon and the eastern section of Visayas will bring warm weather to the country.
Article continues after this advertisement“Patuloy ang epekto ng easterlies sa Luzon at sa eastern section ng Visayas, kaya ngayong araw, makakaasa pa rin po tayo ng medyo mainit na panahon. Makakaasa rin na masisilayan po natin si haring araw,” Aurelio said in a morning forecast.

Easterlies are warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean.
Article continues after this advertisementHowever, the state weather specialist noted there are still chances of isolated rain showers and thunderstorms nationwide.
Article continues after this advertisement“Makararanas ng bahagyang maulap hanggang sa maulap na kalangitan na may mga isolated na pag-ulan o biglaang buhos ng ulan dahil sa thunderstorm. Ang lagay ng panahon ay mararanasan po yan sa Luzon at gayundin po sa Visayas at Mindanao,” Aurelio explained.

Pagasa added these isolated rain showers may be expected in the afternoon or evening.

Pagasa has not raised a gale warning over any of the country’s seaboards on Wednesday.
